KILN-DRIED LUMBER

After the lumber is milled to spec, it leaves the mill on sticks to sit on the yard for a minimum of 90 days.  It then goes into advanced, computer-operated kilns that use moisture, temperature, and pressure sensors to achieve the optimum moisture content.

We have over 500,000 feet of steam kiln drying capacity that is operated by a well-seasoned foreman.  He slowly extracts the moisture by using controlled temperature and pressure until the lumber reaches the specified moisture content.  Then the lumber is conditioned for stress relief by introducing steam back into the lumber.

Once our hardwood lumber products have been kiln-dried, they receive a second, final NHLA inspection before being professionally packaged for shipping.

The final product can be used for flooring, mill works, cabinets, furniture and many other applications needing quality kiln dried lumber.

We offer several species of wood boards for sale for various applications and needs, which can be found below:

GREEN LUMBER

Green Lumber is sold directly from mill before any drying occurs.  After the lumber is dipped and banded, it goes to several types of manufacturers that choose to dry their own lumber.

One major industry that frequently uses Green Lumber is flooring manufacturers.

INDUSTRIAL LUMBER

Used for many industrial purposes, this lumber is milled from the center of the logs and is comprised of various types of hardwoods.

The closer you get to the center of a log, the less grade lumber you get.  It’s the center of the log that is primarily used to produce Industrial Lumber

We offer several types of Industrial Lumber for various applications.  If it is Board Road, sewer sheathing, or Pallet Cants for pallets, we can help.

We also offer various lumber dimensions and timber thickness to meet specific needs.

With our own fleet of trucks, we can deliver any order on time to your location.
