Rutland Lumber Company, founded in 1956, is a third generation family-owned hardwood manufacturing business located in the south-central Mississippi city of Collins.

WHY RUTLAND?
Our sister company, Superior Mat Co., manufactures, sales and
leases a wide range of mats for most construction applications.
Another affiliated company, Rutland Timber Company,
purchases standing timber from local land owners for use in our
sawmill, and also manages the Company-owned timberlands
industries.
Rutland Lumber Company and each of our related companies promote conservation of natural resources following the principles and criteria for forestry management recommended by Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA). We are committed to the responsibility of the environment and our world’s forestry lands.
